Topic: X-Men Team Members quiz Posted: 09-Dec-2011 at 8:32pm |
Has anyone taken this X-Men and Related Team Members quiz on Sporcle? It's a good quiz, and thorough. I took it the other day and could only get 155 of them in 20 minutes. In my defense, I'd been drinking a bit and my roommate was transcribing what I was saying, but still, that's weak.

Well, I got 163. The students REALLY threw me for a loop - I barely remembered ANY of the dead ones. Excalibur: Sword of Power didn't help. >.<
Neat little quiz though, that was a fan-brain-blast.

Weak as well... I got 165/217
Column 1 - I got all but 4
Column 3 - I got almost none lol
Got nearly all the Academy X/New X-Men -- so I was pleased with myself
Some of them I would never have even if you gave me a week to do the quiz.

Yeah, like Skitz and Stringfellow? I've never before thought of them as even remotely related to the X-Men. I think the most obscure one I got was Dryad.

I only got 171.... and I am kicking myself for missing Gambit and Warpath.
If they had all of Alpha Flight on there my result would have been better!
I got 67/78 - missing mostly the post Dissassembled recruits. But I did get 17 bonus points for Honourary members!

213/217 and 78/78. I missed Blink, Lila Chaney, Vange Whedon and Diamond Lil on the X-Men, some of which I'd like to contest with the judges. :-)

I got 170 something, spelling caught me out on a few of them. I somehow forgot Northstar too despite going 'who else was on Northstar's squad'.
71 out of 78 on the avengers

Crutey, I did the EXACT same thing when it came to Northstar. I did fine on the students, it was some of the randoms things that got me, like Tom Corsi and Sharon Thingumy. I think I only did so well because when I started running out of names, I checked the side-bars to see which characters I was missing. I missed Blink and Vange too, but got Diamond Lil just from that Necrosha story... yet I wouldn't class Blink as an X-Man. Her main universe counterpart never wore an X. At least Lil died fighting alongside the X-Men... although then why wasn't Meld included?

Probably because you spelled her name 'Lila Chanley'!

63/78 on Avengers. Given that I've only been reading Avengers for a few years, I'm pretty pleased.

On the X-men quiz I got 195.
I actually got almost all of the kids right (and even a few like Jeffrey Garrett and Aero who were accepted but didn't count) which helped a lot. Also I filled up the first column pretty much by the exact order given (which I must give credit to Uncannyxmen.net because everything I know about early x-men stories and line-ups is based in information I read on this website).
I did especially bad in the "Excalibur:sword of power" (not even one) and in the X-corporation. Also I kept trying to write Alistaire Stuart for Excalibur (which didn't work) and then his sister was present (at first I though that I had misspelled it)
The Blink inclusion is weird but after I filled up the initial cast of Generation X I figured she had to be the blank spot missing. On the other hand the exclusion of Gateway or Jeffrey Garrett doesn't make sense to me considering they included characters with less appearances.
On the Avengers' quiz I managed 52. Although unimpressive compared to other scores here, considering that I actually don't read Avengers (apart from crossovers) I was surprised at how many I got right. At a certain point I was just typing random marvel heroes hoping that some had been a member at some point (and it worked for a few).

I tried the five most published one... And was terrible at it!
There was one where you had to name the top 25 most published marvel and DC characters, but if you named more than one who wasn't in the top 25 but WAS in the top 300, instant game over.
95/100 on the secret identities. Let down by one that I didn't even realise had an alias.
Edited so I don't get set on fire by Peter :)

Same here regarding that last name you mentioned. I did not post the name, and advise you to edit your post and erase them to not give others an unfair advantage.
