O_O!  If you pause it around :45 or :44 you'll see what appears to be Surtur grabbing Amora.... and she looks terrified.

Do you guys think adding Ms. Marvel and Vision will make the team too large? They barely gave Black Panther or AntMan any screentime as the season progressed and I think adding two more characters will be harder for them to juggle.

I think it depends on who they want to focus on this season. Ant-Man I believed played a center role in the Ultron Arc and had some important stuff to do in the Loki finale. Black Panther had his beginning stories but yeah later on wasn't the focus. I don't think necessarily every character has to be the focus all the time though.

Also I noticed that Black Panther has a new costume too, one more like his comic book counterpart.

One of my favourite lines in the first season was when Wasp said to BP "I forgot you talked!". It reflected Black Panther's role in the show perfectly; he barely did anything. I think they should send a few characters away if they're going to bring in new ones like Ms Marvel and Vision, but we'll see how it goes.

Red Hulk! Wow that's a cool surprise.

This is SO exciting!  I think the cartoon is really well done.  I can't even begin to describe how pumped I am for this!!

Also, I know that making these things takes time and costs money, but I really wish Marvel would put out more animated material.  With A:EMH doing so well, and Ultimate Spider-Man looking just as good, and cartoons for Iron Man and the Fantastic Four getting good press, they could really branch out here with more series and/or animated movies.  I'll never understand why they canceled Wolverine and The X-Men - they should bring that back, possibly integrate it in the EMH world.  Cosmic stuff would work SO well in animation.  Maybe even a series with Daredevil or Runaways or something.

Wolverine and the X-Men was cancelled for financial reasons I believe.

For one thing it was airing on NickToons instead of DisneyXD. It would have faired better on XD I'm sure, all being part of the Disney umbrella I'm sure.

The woman behind Spidey may be Quake. Ant-Man is Scott Lang or Eric O'Grady. Where are Mockingbird & Black Knight? No She-Hulk or Squirrel Girl saddens me.

Great first episode, the action and the characters really feel spot on. Although they have a tendency for the villains to be able to have whatever power they want and need for the moment. But i guess they have to be that über powerful when facing so many heroes.

I really liked the interplay between the teams, especially when Tony told a disinterested Reed that Asgard was scientific while Jan told Sue that Asgard was magic.
Dr. Doom was awesome in this. I love that he was powerful enough that he could fight the FF & Avengers simultaneously without breaking a sweat. It lookedlike he was using magic deflection shields too. It was odd that Latveria was just one giant castle with no other residents. The only disappointment was the end came so abruptly. I hope we see more Dr. Doom later on.
Do you think we'll see Moonstone (possibly powered by a Norn Stone) or Taskmaster this season?

A moonstone version pwoered by Asgardian magic would be fun, especialyl if she has to the the disciple routine with one of the more powerful Asgardian magic users.  Especially if it was Karnilla.

Karnilla was turned to stone by Grey Gargoyle to get the stones in the first place. Moonstone doesn't have much use for mentors either, save to betray them.

Wow what a really good season opener.

I'm with EmP this was probably the best Dr.Doom that's ever been on TV.

The dynamics between the two teams was fantastic. This really makes you feel like this is the Silver Age of Marvel U. From what the episode stated, it seems that the Fantastic Four have been around for a few years but mostly as explorers, not really as super-heroes. In some ways this world feels like a Marvel version of the DCnU lol...

I loved the reveal at the end and I love the fact that Doom knows...I mean how appropriate. Overall, I'm so excited for this season.

I really liked Tony's armor this episode. It melded all the angular elements from his classic armor with the high tech sensibilities of his mdern armors. I'd love to see it used in Iron Man 3 or the comics so I can get a toy of it.
This episode reminded me why I hate the Hulk. He walks around the mansion in Hulk form even when he doesn't have anything to be angry about. None of the Avengers are concerned that this rageaholic monster is keeping Dr. Banner prisoner & thereby halting advancementsin Gamma science. Then he visciously attacks the Thing without provocation at every opportunity. The Hulk is the world's biggest asshole.

I thought Banner agreed to stay inside the Hulk so that the Hulk can be a hero. How is it prison if the man chooses to be there? If anything Banner's taking a vacation from reality. Which he has every right to...

Or I could be thinking too deep into a cartoon LOL

I thought the Hulk said in season 1 he'd only be an Avenger if they let him call the shots instead of Banner?

I thought that was what the Hulk negotiated so to go help? But Banner was the one who suggested it?
