According to the revelations in X-sanction the Avengers will be anti-mutant. But time will tell, im just a little bit more pessimistic and fear a very big reboot/reshuffeling. Also, lets not forget 2013 will be the year predicted in Days of future past

I feel the same way...I think the Avengers and X-Men will be affected by it most(Hope will be dead after all :))....I think we might even get a combo Avengers/X-Men team featuring Jean and Scarlet Witch written by Bendis(just don't expect them to have real personalities)....But in no way is this going to reset anything or change anything happening in Fantastic Four or Spider-Man.
X-Sanction is written by Loeb...it doesn't matter(seriously it's clearly having no affect on the main story). Plus Marvel would never let Captain America become some anti-mutant racist.
Also 2013 was the future in the 80's....It also had a grown Rachel and older X-Men. So given the sliding time-scale....Days of Future Past occured much latter.

If that happens the biggest fear I have sometimes would become reality, and Marvel finds a way to get rid of X-men as a seperate series in favour of the Avengers because of the Avengers-movie.

That isn't happening either....I mean that doesn't even make sense from a comic business point of view or a movie business point of view(there are X-Men movies out there...Fox might own them but Marvel still makes money off them).

I know Marvel would be nuts to completly get rid of the good going X-men. But what probably will happen is that all x-series will get one of the following treatment: 1. Cancelled 2. Restarted 3. Cast reshuffled (Their will probably be some fatalities, even unlikely ones) 4. Some new ones started And we fans will not like everything that will happen (in the beginning at least)

Killing off characters is a questionable direction. Both teams are hero teams. It's not like Bastion killing Nightcrawler or Captain America getting shot. If an X-Man kills an Avenger or the other way around then that is going to seriously tarnish any repuation that team has.

Yeah im not sure why some fans keep saying the x-men will be cancelled, that makes no sense at all. Like i can understand cynical reservations but outright hysteria like that is a reason why comic fans are looked down upon by the rest of society.

Well we know Gen Hope is dead and IMO the only title that's truely in danger would be X-Factor as it's the lowest selling x-book. That said they ONLY JUST put Havok and Polaris on the team and reading future solicits and interviews I don't think this title is going anywhere. More than likely there will be new book launches. I like the idea of a book that has both X-Men and Avengers in it and is credited as such. Not like New Avengers with Wolvie as a member of the Avengers but say Storm, Beast and Wolvie working alongside Captain America, Luke Cage, Scarlet Witch and Ms Marvel for example. Both teams have been seperate entities since...well forever...this team would be the first official Uncanny Avengers team.

can you people please stop crying reboot until it actually happens. Until Marvel ACTUALLY SAYS IT all you are doing is making sh*t up, stirring the pot and being annoying,

Yeah the reboot cry is a bit out there I think. Marvel has one big thing going for it all these years over DC. Their continuity is really not that hard to get into and it matters to them. I highly doubt they'd reboot or reshuffle on a huge scale just to match DC.
Sure I can see some titles being reshuffled in the aftermath, which is standard fare by now for events. I'm sure some books will get new #1's, a few new books will come out, one or two will be canned now doubt, some characters might die perhaps, and the status quo will be 'rocked' but reboot is highly out there in conspiracy theories.

Good idea, here are some of the possibillty's:
- The wanted X-men (if some are going to be on the run)
- The hunted X-men (idem)
- The outlaw X-men (idem)
- The exiled X-men (if some are exiled from earth/utopia/westchester)
- The heroic X-men (if the X-men will be the heroes of the day after AvsX)
- The fabulous X-men (only women team)
- The darling X-men (of course lead by Emma Frost)
- X-men United (if the Schism is cancelled)
- X-men/Avengers United (if X-men and Avengers or some combine)
Btw, I think X-men Legacy could be renamed to, because its no longer goes that much about X-men history or unfinished business, like when it was starring Xavier searching and redeeming for his past, but more about teachers at the school.

@Flapflop
But it does deal with alot of the students, which are the X-Men's legacy. I can see the book keeping the title with that new meaning.

^ Unfortunately, the book hasn't been focusing on students since the Collision arc. So yeah, I vote to rename it as 'Rogue & the X-Men'.

BC, 'Thunderbolts-X' would be more appropriate then.

Brubaker and AvX
I really like Brubaker's writing style and what he brings to the table.
Most interesting is that each writer will write in their distinct style with this crossover, versus the trying to mesh together thing. I think thats awesome. Its very X-crossover like (which imo tend to be better than the overall Marvel U events).

I enjoyed how they throw a lot out at a retreat and some of those things might not even show up for a couple of years but it brings comfort in being reminded that they do have a long ranged vision for the most part and do not just throw things together all the time. And maybe this concept is Just around for the large scale events, they still do give creative freedom to the writer, even when the great writers miss a beat (Zorn).

With all the talk of new teams ans writers it would seem odd to throw them out after AvX. The biggest thing that I see happening is not a merging of Avengers and Xmen teams but a huge widening gap between them. I do not see any mutants on an avenger team after this at all. I think for newer readers the Avengers will continue having their main core of Avengers tieing to the movie and such, I do think that somehow through this series we will see Xavier as the comeback kid in the X-Men. I see Cyclops arrested others maybe on the run and Xavier leading and teaching again. A heavy change as well as a change back to some form as well.
I really think that there will still be the same amount of xbooks, just look at the fact that DC has like 52 titles and I cannot name half of them. the x-Men's vision statements for the different teams maybe different as well.
But regardless of whether we are told who Hopes real parents are she is gone after this one.
Also Marvel is releasing a huge X-Man collection tpb around June makes me wonder if Nate Grey might get a little spotlight in all of this?
Very excited for whats to come, and have no fear for canceled xtitles, there is no way they will do that! They could drop and pick up a new one coming out of an old one but all 14 xtitles are here to stay
**I would love to see the X-Men co run or tri-run by Xavier, Erik and Emma! That would be an amazing team actuay from where they had been in thief pasts to their evolutions they stand to make a solid team, and not a disfuntional one seen so many years ago. I mean maybe Scott and Logan might be locked up in the same prison cell!!
I would love to read that mini series. "just had a Schism and now we share a bunk bed in the big house!" it could be really good therapy for these guys, maybe they always just needed a jail cell weekend to deal with their unresolved sh*t. "let's talk about Jean!"
I do believe their will be significant changes to the main books uncanny, wolverine And the X-Men, Legacy and X-Men (probablly change up/ change of location? Hidding? Jail? Or taking off. These books will be he real ones that show all the reprocussons of AvX but all the other titles I would say might be a bit safer when this blows over, New Mutants are not new to the concept of relocation And besides X-Factor the NewMutants don't have a lot of baggage or drama that would keep them back from going out as separate entities and doing their own thing.
The youngin's thats were there will be some issues as well, they can get at easier, get caught, captured, disappear, turn villian out of angst. This being the case God help them in this mess.

Reading Nick Lowe's interview was interesting. Either it's a total red herring and the X-Men are going to be slapped about like a cheap tart, or the X-Men are going to come out the victors of this. Now, I know this is an X-Board so therefore we're very biased towards the X-Men, but realistically... did any of us ever really expect that in an all out war between the Avengers and X-Men that we could be looking at an incredibly significant victory for the children of the atom? Because I didn't!
I'm starting to wonder whether or not the status quo might ACTUALLY be changed. I'm starting to tie things in from Fraction's issues of Uncanny and I can't help but feel that perhaps Cyclops is going to play the media angle again. It's already been suggested that UXF isn't going to play a role in AvX due to being mid-way through another story whilst the event is going on, but can we say the same for Remender's OTHER secretive Black-Ops title? Imagine the blow that would be to the Avengers if it was revealed that the Secret Avengers exist to the public-- these heroes-- no-- ICONS of how heroes are supposed to behave and rise above petty vengeance in order to protect the world... and they have a team prepared to kill.
I really think this might be an X-Men victory, and I think we might see, as a result of it, a heavier X-presence in Avengers squads. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we saw a high-ranking lieutenant from both sides of the Schism delegated to the Avengers. Maybe Storm will go back to ignore her marriage that no one cares about.

I didn't either until Bendis announced he was leaving the Avengers books.
