or probably she is..... what would happen to a "mutant not to be able to use her powers anymore" in limbo after every x-men-human left?! I guess it would not be pretty..... but it is pure speculation.
on the other hand - no one has SEEN lifeguard in a long while -please correct me if I am wrong - but she has always been mentioned as being alive and powered.... now she even should be on the street-team but we are still waiting for any appearance. |

Well that "icon" was in an actual comic. So while it might not be her on page it still is an official indication of her existence and place. Same way as they identify which students (which may or may not have appeared on page yet) to have a particular placement.

That's the difference. The comic itself says she's at Utopia vs. a reader's speculation that Trista is. No one has said she was there except a random reader on CBR.

I thought Polaris wasn't technically a mutant anymore. Shouldn't she be listed with Longshot, etc... in the X-Factor section?

In the last X-Men Legacy arc, she tested X-gene positive, so apparently whatever Apocalypse did fully restored her mutant status, not just her powers.
