That was a big one for me for a while - especially because the way Skottie Young did it totally made sense for the trauma she went through - her wings lost their color and her hair lost some color as well (I think her eyes were always black/pink irises). Then you're right, it was just completely ignored by Land (surprising, I know) and it was like nothing happened.

Scott was called "Slim" for a reason. He should be tall and thinly built even when buffed up.

I used to feel that way but it is possible that over the years he could have bulked up. Of course he shouldn't match Colossus but he's gotten older and wouldn't look the same he did at 18 or 20.

Well that's another thing because some people do draw him slimmer sometimes. I just wish people's proportions were kept the same. Sometimes Pixie is tiny and slim other tines she's leggy and big breasted. Sometimes Cannonball is stick thin, other times he's buffed up. I get that it's the artist but it's always so jarring when there is an artist change or fill-in after an arc and it's like Issue 3 Skinny Issue 4 Buff Issue 5 Skinny.

I don't think most artist, outside those with a more "realistic" art style tend to still draw him as very slim though. Plus again, it is about their particular style. I always think about Bachalo and Skottie Young in that regard, they draw characters very well (imo) but their style is highly stylized, so their characters don't look like any other.

I definately like it when artists pay attention to the fact that different characters have different heights and builds. Yeah a lot of chars are average height, but the ones that aren't often get drawn as if they were. :(

Cyke doesn't get drawn 'slim' much anymore, cept for Cho's anorexic in need of a sandwich Cyclops in Schism lol. Cannonball get's the slim treatment. He'll go from a bulky adult who has worked out and been fit for years, to suddenly back to the lanky thin of his youth, to suddenly back to muscular and fit. The X-Men have some great pills to bulk and de-bulk rapidly at the user's discretion.

Yeah, that does happen to Sam a lot. When Madeureira drew him, he was buff and sexy, and then the next time he showed up he looked thin, buck toothed, and ugly like in his early New Mutants days. He's flip flopped ever since. I guess the thin look could be considered a neat character thing...but dang it's almost offensive. He's sometimes drawn as if he grew up in a swamp as an inbred.

I don't think he can anymore with those paws of his. I think i remember him saying that he learned to play the drums instead.

I seem to recall Kitty saying her curly hair early on was a perm and that she was a little embarrassed about it now.

Yes get Cat Beast righ. i mean sometimes its just rediculus. Not like getting someone's eye colour wrong - He's a cat!
Magneto's helmet around the bottom sometimes it goes up on the sides some times its just flat all way round.
I knoticed in UXM with Colossonoughts helmet missing when Cyc told him specifically to keep it on.
Size. they fight someone big then he pics them up and is gigantic.
Hey you know growing up watching the 90's cartoon i never new Storm was Black. yep. she just didnt look that dark so i never knew.
wolverine's claws. where do they come out of? is the blade on the sides or on the bottom?
and yeah Scott should be slim, Sam used to have wingnut ears and buck teeth. And Asian people dont look the same as caucasion.

Now I'm not sure what you mean about Wolverine's claws. They always come out the top of his hands. An artist mistakes that and they're an idiot (not to be mean).

Magneto probably manipulate the metal of his helmet into different shapes to suit his fashion mood

ummm no. it's standard now that they come out from between the knuckels more inline with the fingers, that is to say between the fingers (like in the movie), than ontop of the hand which they used to.

I would say a majority of artists draw them on top of his hands still. Daken more often is drawn with the movie style.
I've seen both of them with claws drawn on top or in-between though.

For me it's women's faces in general. A really talented artist draws women as distinct. So often in comics the various women are only the same woman with different hair styles.

Not every female over the age of 12 is a D-Cup. Also concering Wolverine's claws. This was bigger in the 90's. But the "curved" effect you would see was B A D. Also the length of the claws. Does he have enough control for a half-snikt? What is the maximum length?

Alex I do everything like a hawk.
This isn't DC Comics -- Marvel continuity doesn't die out if you don't water it often enough.
The whole Batman idea is a very childish response to childhood trauma.
