Okay so that's it. it's all over

Anyone else stick it out with this brilliant series?

Thoughts on the finale?

I was so sad to see it end, although I will admit some of the plotlines were growing stale. Still, I'll miss so many things about this series. Sarah and Chuck, Awesome and Ellie, Casey, Jeffster. Especially Jeffster. I loved that they all came together like a family. I was also a little torn by the ending. On one hand it was thoroughly "Chuck", sweet and sentimental but with a little sadness thrown in there. But on the other hand I was kind of wanting some resolution, and this was definitely one of those "open-ended" finales. I certainly am going to go with a more positive ending in my own mind, but it's definitely not conclusive. It makes me sad a little, in fact I can't stop thinking about whether the kiss was actually "magical" or not.

I'm a little indifferent on the ending because I don't think Chuck is the series that needs an open-ending. It's core this was always about Chuck and Sarah both making each other into better people. So I felt they needed a definitive ending, because well that's really the one thing the fandom(who kept the show on the air) wanted; the fairy tale ending in the white house with the red door.  What they gave us was...bittersweet...And from what I've read many fans are unhappy about that. And at first I wasn't either.

I actually threw on my Chuck season 1 DVD a couple of hours ago and when I saw the beach scene, I totally smiled and pretty much swooned, haha. To me Sarah did get her memory back or at least she her "emotional connection" back and her "humanity" back. As I said Chuck was as much about Sarah growing into a human being, so the reason I was most against the ending was because I didn't want to see five years of Sarah development down the drain. But the beach scene, with her crying and laughing and asking Chuck to kiss her proved that she was OUR Sarah. So when I rewatched that scene when SHE asked Chuck to trust her, it clicked in me that the ending was happy and beautiful and everything else it should have been. Still would have preferred the close book as honestly I think that's what Chuck fans DESERVED for keeping the show on for five years, but I've accepted that ending we've got because well I totally see the positive ending now, with Sarah becoming Sarah because of "The magical kiss".

I will miss this show. I lucked out and caught a marathon of the first six episodes on television and that's how I got into it. I loved it. I loved Chuck, Sarah, Casey, Morgan Ellie and Awesome SOO much. I loved their awesome guest stars. The amazing fight scenes. The music! But mostly I loved how the show could go from this funny spy comedy to this beautiful romantic drama about Chuck and Sarah to a buddy comedy with either Chuck, Casey and Morgan.

And Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski were just amazing finds. Seriously, how AMAZING were they? Zachary with his range to go from comedy to drama to suspense in seconds and Yvonne could make me crack and tear up with just the subtle emotions on her face. I hope this isn't the last we see of either of them. And need we say anything about Adam Baldwin?

I'll admit I could a little tired of the Buy More midway through season 3 and all the Buy Morons(Big Mike, Jeff and Lester) I actually felt that began to hurt the show and drag down most episode they were in and I just stopped laughing. Jeff I liked more Lester, in fact overall whenever he was on his own or did something on his own Jeff was good but by the Lester was intolerable.

This last season was also not the best. I loved Sarah's growth this season and Chuck being a spy without the Intersect but that was it...Sadly all the talk of the white house with the red door has a depressing "what if..." for some...but w.e...

But either way, man did I love this show. And still do. I'm buying all the seasons of iTunes so I can watch them on the bus!

And yes I had a lot to say about this show. It was always in my top ten(though season 1-3 were top 5 for sure!)

PS: I had this on my computer as my desk top for a year when it first came out. I'm bringing it back!
