I'm so excited to see this. For whatever reason, I always liked this character. He needs more print...and to join the X-Men.

Neophyte is a boring ginger whose personality is as insubstantial as his corporal form. It's a testament to Tanwer's achievement with this profile that he made it interesting enough to read without falling asleep. Well done.
Why am I even listening to you to begin with? You're a virgin who can't drive.

I always liked Neophyte and hoped that he'd reappear and get some further development.  I mean, a kid whose compassionate nature and convictions were strong enough to defy the Acolytes not once, but twice and risk death to speak his own truth.  That's pretty awesome in my book.  He could've made a nice addition to the school at some stage.

OMG YES this was so good. The Acolytes had some really good storylines in the nineties but were bloated with too many filler characters

I have so much fondness for the Acolytes. I hope Scanner gets one in the future!

Though some have groused that the Character Profiles sometimes feature characters that are too obscure, that's one of the things I *love* about them!  Everyone has a bit character they really liked a lot and always hoped would show up again and get the spotlight.  Neophyte was one of those for me, as well.

Our greatest hope is that a current or future X-writer will read one of these and realize that the character still has some untapped potential and some lucky X-fan's dream will come true...

This character always reminded me of Cannonball. But, like most Acolytes, too bland to really care about.

I wanted him to join Excalibur with Scanner when the team when back to an old base/safe house when the Acolytes tried to collect Colossus. Alas, he wasn't even in the issue.

I like him as well. I think his power set is pretty cool. Didn't realized that he's in Utopia though. Scott should use him!
