Right off the top of my head, I've got one.

Storm "kills" Marrow. I had only just started to read Uncanny X-Men (previously taught about X-Men through X-Men TAS) and that fight against Marrow blew my mind. Joe Mad's art, Storm's moral battle about how to finish the fight, and ultimately her decision to stop Marrow, cemented this in my young mind.

A powerless Storm kicks Cyclops's ass so he'll cede leadership of the team to her and finally spend time with his family.

I'm guessing Storm will have a lot of moments on this list, which also covers the "Awesome Moments In X-History involving African-American X-people" that didn't happen last month.  [/joshing BC]

Similar to Storm's killing of Marrow, I'd say Jean Grey's killing of Meme prior.  It wasn't built up in the same way, though the art definitely captured the feel of growing body horror.  The bodies that Meme absorbed were really just reaching out for help, but just like flailing around while drowning, all they'd do is trap more innocent people.  Jean usually kept her hands clean and had even managed to avoid being involved in the deaths of the three Tunnelers who went on their rampage in the streets.  Cyclops got in a kill there thanks to knocking Berserker in the water while the others were shot by humans.  But here, Jean was mostly isolated from her partners while still in a very public area.  In this instance, when faced with somebody who was a threat to the public but not threatening, she had no choice but to kill somebody to save others.  And given that Meme probably never really had a good mental grasp on what was even happening around him, it was almost like killing a child for her.

LOL...Well here are my top ten (no order):
Storm ripping out Marrow's Heart
Jean effing up the U-Men
Psylocke vs Sabretooth part 1
Rogue vs Nimrod
Kitty stops the bullet
Storm beating Cyclops
Rogue taking the "bullet" for Mariko
Emma snapping Cassandra Nova's neck
X-23's back flip into the molten metal to get rid of the Legacy Virus in her system
Magik's orchestration of everything during Wells' New Mutants run.

Any time Rogue does a power combo is awesome.
I'm a big fan of Jubilee rescuing Logan from crucifcion when she didn't even know him and keeping him safe from the Reavers. That encapsulates why Jubilee is a badass and resourceful survivor. Too bad most writers didn't have her live up to this.
Even though Hama's Generation X is terrible, I liked Emma vs. Bianca LaNeige. It was goofy, but it owned that goofiness by having Emma take out Bianca with a watermelon to the head. It was one of the first times that we actually saw Emma being a capable physical fighter without falling back on her psychic powers. So this is actually some good foreshadowing for Emma's sudden combat prowess once she gained diamond skin.
Which leads us to any time Emma kills or tortures someone. Since being cop-opted by the X-Men, there's been a tendency to mellow her. On those rare occassions when she gets to kill someone, it's a glorious return to form that reminds us why she became popular in the first place. If you mess with Emma Frost, she'll take you down merciless without remorse. A favorite example is when she dropped John Sublime to his death for breaking her nose.
The triple (almost) betrayl of Mystique, Lady Mastermind, and Malice-possessed Omega Sentinel was masterful.

I love Rogue's power combos that's why one of my Top 10 is when she took on Nimrod. It was the first good-Rogue power combo and the art that portrayed it was beautiful. That image of her with Colossus's skin and Nightcrawler's face and the punch that shattered Nimrod...just awesome.

I liked the first time Doc Samson counseled X-Factor because it gave Polaris a strong defining moment. After a string of mind control and power fluctuations, she declares that she is going to control her mind and body. It's also the debut of my favorite Polaris costume.

1. Kitty telling Emma off in Astonishing (the first time: when I think about evil, blah blah blah)
2. Psylocke telling Archangel to go back for the sword she used to kill the Deathlock Psylocke in Uncanny X-Force
3. Jean Grey defending the Xavier Institute against Sublime's men during Morrison's run on New X-Men
4. X-23's response to Warpath in X-Force regarding his question to her and Logan's indifference to the amount of Purifier blood. "I do not understand your question."
5. Emma Frost promising to give Xavier to Danger in return for her assistance with the Breakworld nonsense.
6. Rahne Sinclair's attempt to go back to find other students in X-Men: The End, although she knew the school's reactor was about to blow up.
7. Storm unveiling her new punk look, along with the quote "So long as I remain true to myself, I see no reason to apologize to others." (Not sure if that's the exact quote)
8. Carol Danvers knocking Rogue into orbit during the Ashes From The Past story
9. Esme giving "Xorneto" Alzheimers. Sure she failed, but at least she had the testicular fortitude to try.
10. Cassandra Nova wiping out Genosha. C'mon... It was awesome.

Well, tathunen, seeing as how, during Psylocke's tenure as leader of the X-Men when they were squatting at the Reaver's base (Maynard Plains) in Australia, she convinced the X-Men to go through the Siege Perilous in an attempt to keep their bodies/ minds/ souls from being murdered/ altered. The after effect for Miss Braddock is that her mind/ body/ soul was altered by the Mandarin and the Japanese guy who killed Mariko (don't remember his name, was in X-Men 2nd series 31-32. Matsuo I think) in an attempt for Matsuo to regain the love he had lost in Kawannon, the asian ninja whose body Elisabeth Braddock's body now resides in. Bets kept her head up and just kept dealing with all sorts of crap, even by X standards. Claremont killing her in Xtreme X-Men, then him bringing her back (again), The whole Exiles thing, the Crimson Dawn nonsense, almost getting killed by Sabretooth, blah blah blah, banging the AOA Sabretooth... Anyways she's been through almost as much crap as Jean Grey, and that's saying something. However, no matter everything she went through, she still stood tall, didn't kill people, kept Xavier's code of honor... Until Uncanny X-Force came out. So knowing how much hate she has for the Reavers and cyborgs in general (shown in Uncanny X-Force 5.1, I think) don't you think she'd want the sword that she used to kill a cyborg version of herself? She fought a nightmare version of herself. Hell, she didn't even fight Cy-locke (yes a pun, I know: how awful). She just threw a sword at her and sliced her head open. So killing a version of herself that she had only come into contact with in her nightmares before, don't you think she'd want the sword so she could at least remind herself what could have happened to her originally when she was still white, not to mention DID happen in an alternate future. and that she ended her nightmare personally?

This is most bad-ass moments featuring the X-women, but there aren't any Hope lists yet despite her being the strongest of all of them. Are you guys having trouble ranking her many great ones?

Hope taking down Bastion was pretty great. Even more badass was her putting her tears away, cocking her gun, and going off to battle with Rogue.

Her turning into diamond and sniping Sinister in the head was also pretty badass.

Just to add or build on a lot of great X-Women moments we've already compiled...
1) Storm defeating Callisto by stabbing her through the heart is the original awesome moment that trumps her fight with Marrow
2) Rogue's power combo is ok...but I prefer her taking the bullet for Mariko or her absorbtion of the million minds under Carey.  I like her best when she's a little unhinged, desperate and slightly suicidal.
3) Emma drop kicking Leech in order to defeat Gene Nation.  Same reasons as her snapping Cassandra Nova's neck is awesome.
4) Psylocke's entire Uncanny X-Force run has been awesome.
5) Jean and the U-Men for sure
6) Rachel should have some moment here. I feel like her fight with Selene was the best, but it ended up with her getting stabbed. She's had a pretty solid year as well.

Rachel smacking Captain America in the face with his own shield whilst declaring, "I AM one of the greats" is pretty epic.

M, after acting (being?) catatonic for several issues, stands up and, with no warning, kills a Phalanx with something she cobbled together from spare bits lying around the floor, knocks the prison wall over, and shoves Blink, Husk, and Skin to safety without breaking a sweat.

Domino takes on Nimrod after it beats up the rest of X-Force.

Jean owns Sabertooth and refuses to give him the "glow" when he's prisoner at the X-Mansion.

That's an awesome Jean moment Michiru. Even Sabretooth couldn't help but give her a little respect at the end of the issue.

Domino's second solo mini was pretty great - just the whole thing.

When Hope was gutted viciously and no one came to her aid, and she bled out and died. (Just wait for it... it's coming)

Polaris taking out the entire team of Marauders before revealing she was Malice who'd taken over the body (it was the only acceptable time Polaris was possessed/mind controlled/brainwashed/held prisoner; on the contrary it lasted way too long).

Maddie Pryor first revealed as the Goblyn Queen was pretty neat (I like when characters flip flop like that)

Boom Boom becoming Meltdown.

Then, after dropping all code names, "Taby" vs. Giant Ultra Samurai Cop

More to come?
