Wow awesome!

Poor Jean, the "I could't think of anything better" excuse that defines her character basically started at conception.

Credit where credit is due, thank our newest member of the team, Michael Andersen ( lurking on this forum as Scififilmnerd) for the extensive research and Ryan for helping on touching up the images (I'll never look at Yul Brynner in the same way again!

Really cool to see new articles like this. I cannot wait for more installments. It's always interesting to here why writrs/artists did things certain ways and how certain characters were created.

Nice! Good idea of a central hub for such background info - can't imagine the amount of times Staffers have to answer the same questions on the forum. Good work all involved, and look forward to more.

Great work Scifiilmnerd! Really enjoyed it, I can't wait to get into other creator-related ideas!

It's interesting when reading Stan Lee's retrospective comments to notice some things he simply thought were interesting like contrasting physicality and mentality (i.e Xavier and Beast). But these ideas led to such rich characters and subsequent exploration, I feel Lee himself sounds so modest.

Xavier and Magneto as brothers? What is this, I can't even. Glad that idea didn't came to be.

But, as always, nice feature. Well appreciated.

Best friends is close enough for me.  But I've always liked the Cain and Abel villain/hero dynamic.
