Thank you guys for reminding me it's April Fools. I clicked onto the forum and my eyes were immediately assaulted by Doop speak.....not the best thing so early in the morning.

The Doopspeak article is overlaying the translations directly over the panels (at least on my screen).

yes although I've not been able to fathom a reason why there are translation issues with nation x. With the Daap appearances in X-Men, we can assume that this is because of either us hearing daap through Polaris (and mis-understanding the language) or that it isn't actually Doop, but have no idea for the short Story in Nation-X |

My hypothesis after attempting a translation of Nation X is that the writer made up a new version of Doop speak or simply didn't transliterate the text properly.

I have trouble with Doop. My logic tells me that he is an accessory... a purse, in similar fashion to Lockheed... but my heart tells me he is so much more...
I suppose he was an actual member of X-Statix. And speaks (like, actually speaks...). However, he is artificial... OH, THE CONUNDRUM! |

Thanks for all the kind words, this was truly a team effort on this one, though I'd like to give a shout out to Monolith for the idea, Ryan and Douglas for the BIG assist on the Doop profile and Tanwer for the image work on the front page and especially the logo.
mind you if this was just day 1 of April, what have we planned for the rest of it? |
