8 is killing me. I KNOW I have seen her in that exact pose multiple times, but I cannot think of who it is. 1-4 I got instantly, 5 I have a good guess, 6-8 I have no clue.

I am fairly confident that I got 1-7 correct. I got #5 by the hints...it still took em a while to get it but it helped me narrow the search. I had guessed the team from which #8 came before the hints but I still don't know for sure which character it is. I had it down to three but I couldn't for the life of me find an image of them anywhere in that pose so I took an estimated guess. I kinda think I have got it wrong though....

I was in the exact same boat as you.

I'm very doubtful I'll win, but I was considering options for who I would chose. I'd love to chose someone who wouldn't likely get a spotlight in the near future, like Corsair or Gladiator (I like space okay!). Then I thought "What if someone chose Danger?". The first few pages would detail the thirty years or so of her being a room; "Nightcralwer fought a holographic pirate ship.  A few weeks later Angel flew through some hoops..." LOL

I was also considering some fo the space guys like you mentioned...plus Lilandra. Danger would be cool but, for me, her spotlight would start from when she was "born" in Astonishing X-Men....although a timeline of the Danger Room would be a cool add-on to her spotlight like Rogue's absorbtion list or Legion's personalities.

See, I'm 99% sure I had 1-7 right because I pulled out my Official Handbooks of the Marvel Universe HCs and went through, finding each and every silhouette as best I could (for those that existed). #8 is the only one I couldn't find anywhere, and I'll be interested to see how you guys constructed the silhouette for #7.

Oh you're just being mean! Just for that I'm picking Namor if I win. Have fun with his 70 years of history! Tongue nah I don't really like Namor.
 
I'm fairly confident in 1-7, since I found images that match the silhouettes exactly (I hope)...unless some of the characters have evil identical twins somewhere in the exact same pose Cry

I haven't sent a guess in yet, because I'm still blanking on 2 of the characters. I cant even make a reasonable guess on them. I'm 95% confident on the other six. I'm probably to late to win, but if I get a sudden epiphany I'll try.

One funny thing: it's amazing that in the research for this contest, how many of my own drawings pop up in a google image search. :D

1 to 6, I'm pretty confident about. I have an idea about 8 but since everyone is having trouble, I'm thinking my guess might be too easy. Plus the answer for 8 that I submitted is definitely wrong.

I still have no idea about 7...

Well, with the hints uncovered, I'm now sure I missed LOL. I really would never have though of number 7 before I saw the hint (even afterwards it took me a while for my mind to click).

Oh well, it was worth the try. I don't think waiting for the hints would have given me the win anyway.

The number 8 is torture. That is also the one I want to have revealed the most. I'm pretty sure I've seen that pose, but can't put my finger on the issue/image and I'm afraid I'm confusing it. The hint didn't help at all because I had immediately guessed the uniform.
