Recently, I re-read the Avengers/JLA team-up mini by Busiek and Perez.  I was wondering what others here thought of this story. Was it worth the wait or better left undone?

I thought it was pretty cool. I wish more time would have been spent on the heroes exploring each others universes because that was my favorite part.

I thought the opposing viewpoints was the best part of this as well. If this was done back in the 70s, even the 80s, the focus would've been on just the action and the plot, move the story along in cliffhanger chapters.

But by highlighting the inherent difference of views of superheroes between both universes (which is taken for granted and oft overlooked but essentially a key difference), it made the mini that much more interesting.

Plus, seeing the location differences was fun. Keystone City is a small town in the MU for instance.
