I just finished reading a few arcs of Jonathan Hickman's Fantastic Four and FF.  My newfound obsession with all modern things Marvel Cosmic has put me a step behind everybody else for now.  I've read the issues where the Universal Inhumans are introduced, and when Black Bolt returns (Fantastic Four #577, FF #6 & #7), and "Forever" (Fantastic Four #600 - #604).

At the risk of repeating what everyone else has been saying for years, this guy's stuff is really good!  I'm not much of a fan of the Fantastic Four per se, so I don't know how much of his other work on their titles I'll read, but I was primarily interested in his contributions to the cosmic stuff.  And now that his run with the Fantastic Four will end in #611, I can't help but wonder what Hickman's future at Marvel will be.

There are rumors floating around that he'll take over the Avengers once Bendis leaves, but he's hinted at lots of cool cosmic stuff coming up this year (here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=37191 ).  What do you guys think he'll do?  What would you like him to do?

Personally, I wouldn't mind him taking over the cosmic stuff.  I know DnA had that sh!t on lock, but it seems they'll be busy doing other things for a while ( http://comics.cosmicbooknews.com/content/dna-do-cosmic-boom-studios ).  But I personally wouldn't mind seeing Hickman take over the cosmic franchise.  He seems to be a very thoughtful, considerate writer (in terms of respecting previous continuity), and his stories are well fleshed out and enjoyable to read.  Basically, I'm ready for him to take all of that stuff over, but what do you all think?
