Right now it's probably Steve, but in the long run he has often said that Scott is the one person he would follow to hell and back. At least that's how I've read it.

Cap and Wolverine have only fought once from my reading (it was in a Cap issue)...
Even prior to Schism, Cyclops and Wolverine have fought how many times? Logan has punched Cyke and challenged him numerous times. Now I'm not sure how much that goes to explaining who he respects more. But Cap and Logan in just about every interaction, even prior to AvX or the last decade, showed that Logan respects the hell out of Cap....I'd say even in the long run he respects Cap the most. I'd say the only person he respects more than Cap is Charles Xavier and maybe Nick Fury. |

Got you with the Charles and Nick Fury being the most respected. I would say Steve, but as a tactician I would say Scott. Cap has the people skills, I think Logan likes Steve a hell of a lot more then Scott by a thousand percent. But I still think even though Logan and Scott have almost killed each-other many times, that he would respect the depth of Scott's leadership over the people skills. Before they took off to head to Utopia, Logan told Steve that there was no way Scott would go for this interaction. I guess working as Scott's right hand for so long he knows most of his moves as well.

Steve methinks. Purely because he's been pretty consistent in his dealings, where as I think Schism showed that Logan thinks Scott (or at least his outlook) has changed. Does Logan still respect Scott? Depends in what area. As a tactical leader, sure. As a leader of people (which Scott has taken the mantle of), probably less so than Cap's metaphorical leadership.

I would plead for a "no" to both..... respect is not easily earned, especially not by logan. while he was willing in the past to fight alongside scott and respect his leadership, it was always my reader's impression that logan was respecting the opinion of other fellow x-men much more than scott's, while he was following him willingly into battle.
I am no expert at all concerning cap, as he is not one of my favourites. what was apparent to me recently is,that logan was - beside his own book - much more a real team-player than one would assume at a first glance. so to speak - I think he is following cap now into battle, but will not give him to much credit - or respect - for that. as far as I am concerned, logan would definitly respect storm, psylocke or luke cage for that matter. but cap?! I am not sure, if logan is the type - still - for respecting "leadership", beside choosing a side in a battle and follow someone. but as the interaction with rogue - recently - shows, logan is probably not able to deal with too distinct an opinion if he made his mind up. trust and respect may not be the exact same thing- but concerning cap I am not sure logan is trusting enough to stick with him after this first battle. but logan definitly broke with his sort of respecting scott. |

If you can say Logan respects Storm but not Cap, you're downplaying their relationship.

hmmmm as I said, I am not aware of all of their history. I was merely pointing out that logan's recent behaviour would look that way, that he would still listen to storm. would he to cap?! did logan - in AvX#1 - really look like he would try to understand cap? hmmmm
