Great article. I always thought the Acolytes were a good team but individually they were throwaway characters. It's a shame she ended up on Marve;'s scrapheap...Scanner seemed like a good character.

I did notice a spelling mistake though. Third paragraph from bottom you have spelled Magneto wrong.

"Fearful of the dangers his magnetic powers posed to the world, the United Nations ceded control of the island nation Genosha to Mageneto"

When I briefly thought she was Amelia Voght (aka every second until I pressed "send"), I was TOTALLY going to choose Scanner if I had won Usual Suspects II.

LOVE her.  The Fall of Avalon (plus Neophyte) were the best Acolytes.

I don't think I've ever read anything with Scanner in it, save for background appearances. I know she has a cult following (several people amongst the fan fiction community have made her an X-man). It was good to learn more.

 
Can anyone tell me what characters were used in the "expendable" legacy virus infected team used by the Acolytes? I saw Feral and Pyro in a panel.
