Captain Britain #0 is up now so this leads me to ask the question. Following the events at the end of that issue which of the cast do you think will be The Next Captain Britain? Who would you want it to be? Do you trust me not to throw some kind of curve ball?

Well, Jamie seems to be realizing how much more awesome Brian was than he is. It's also a way for him to make up for his past, cause drama with the knights and Meggan, and Cruty's been talking about how much he loves writing Jamie. I hope it's not revealed to soon though, cause this is way more fun than the whole 'who is Black Panther?' thing was. |

Well, when you put it like that...it would seem likely, but that would be awful convenient wouldn't it? Jamie scarcely showed up three issues ago...okay four and already he could be lined up as the new title role. If that happened, I'd have to observe it was almost as if Volume 2 hadn't been planned before Volume 1 began and we couldn't have that could we?
Ok, I'll concede it's possible someone other than Brian could be Captain Britain, but we know Brian will come back and whoever's taking his role will give it up pronto once Brian returns. Basically, whoever takes that role will have a short stint in the driving seat (unless it is Brian, which ultimately it will be - it's inevitable). That's my guess. |

Grants- You are a pessimistic little so and so aren't you. Ok yes so I've already said brian will be back, who said he'd be Captain Britain...and who said the new one will be giving up the title without a fight?
These are all great guesses guys, not saying if they're right or wrong. Heck it could be worse, that scene originally had Union Jack, Pete Wisdom and Psylocke in the way of the building too, that would have blown it wide open yes?
I'm going to throw in some more clues as we go :)....hm this may not seem like much of a clue but it is, the new Captain Britain has already appeared in this title as well as in main continuity :)

Judging by the ending of issue 0 I'm gonna say the strongest contenders are Jamie, Meggan (I don't think there was any mention of what happened to them when the Dragon crashed and the building collapsed), Red Dragon or Brian. My bets are on Jamie or Brian.
