The Boy is Mine was great and so was Jessie's Girl! I also loved getting to hear Puck and Santana sing! And my question about where Quinn is living was answered! Overall, a decent episode, not my favorite of the season though :D

I also like Jessie's girl and I almost cheered when they started singing The Boy is Mine mostly because I knew it was coming. And yeah I think the characters that aren't Racheal, Finn or Mercedes should sing more often, I really like Santana's voice.

Idina + Lea = Duet Heaven
So glad for a spotlight to go back onto Artie & Asian girl (what's her name again?) after I felt like they were slinking into Limbo with the rise of Santana & Brittany.
Oh, and preview for next week?? I think I might explode....It looks freaking amazing!

I LOVED this episode, but I am surprised at how little backlash there has been over Rachel's storyline. The episode was basically about how her dads can't fill the hole left by her biological mother whom she's never even met. I guess I though some people would take offense to that. Did anyone on this board?

There wasn't very much music in this episode so I wasn't a huge fan. However, Dream On was awesome and so was Rachael and her mother's duet! I guess this episode was pretty good for plot stuff and the little scene with Harris and Lynch was rather funny.
I don't think Rachael wanting to meet her mother was a jab at homosexual couples rearing children or their inability to fulfill certain roles. How many times have there been plots about an adopted child raised by a heterosexual couple who wants to meet his/her birth mother just to know why she gave him/her up? That's the direction I got from the plot at least...
I can't wait to see next week's episode! Lady Gaga songs AND Rachael confronts her mother! Amazing! Though I really wish she'd wake up and see that Jessie is using her so she can get with Finn! And there definitely needs to be more Brittany! They should develop the other two guys in the club as well. I don't even know their names...

The Asian one is Mike Chang (Chang is, funnily enough, Tina's last name also, I think they over-looked that when naming him though). I don't remember the other guy's name, except that Sue called him "Shaft" in the Mash-Up episode. Also, Santanna and Britney are most likely being upgraded to regular cast-members next season. Heather Morriss (who plays Brit) says that they're in contract negotiations with Fox right now.

Glee is one of the few shows I actually watch. I usually lose interest in TV series pretty quick. But I'm pretty much in love with this show.
Brittany is easily my favorite character. I was kinda sad to see that she wasn't given a single line in the last episode (or at least I don't recall her having a single line). But even so, it was maybe my favorite episode so far. Safety Dance was amazing.

God, I loved that episode. Aside from the fact that I majorly love NPH anyway, I just thought the songs were fantastic. Artie's dance sequence was brilliant, Dream On was amazing, NPH's high notes were awesome. And Idina and Leah doing I dreamed a Dream was fantastic too.
Will be good to see Rachel actually speak to her mother next week, and I'm very excited for the Gaga stuff. Also, I like Rachel and Jessie together. I mean, we know that Rachel and Finn will end up together eventually, but as the shows already been signed for a third season, it would be a shame to have them together so easily so soon. And Jonathan Groff is so bloody good, it's ridiculous....

So I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga but I enjoyed this episode a lot. Idina and Leah's version of Poker Face was really nice. I loved that the guys did KISS. And I was scared for Kurt I really though he was going to get gay bashed I liked that the glee club came and saved him. so yeah great episode.
Oh and "Asian vampires are the most vicious" was my favorite line in the episode.

It wasn't really THEIR version. It was the acoustic version that Gaga occasionally performs.

This weeks episode was pretty decent. I loved the Poker Face rendition, but none of the other songs were particularly stand out for me. Plot wise, this was really good episode. I liked the tension that built up between Kurt and Finn and their parents and all that. I like that Finn had a bit of a melt down, but in the end decided to apologize to Kurt in a big way. I think it keeps his character realistic. I also liked how Will stepped in with the situation between Rachel and her mother and I liked how that all worked out.
Overall, the music was alright, but the plot was great, sort of like last week. I'm hoping we get another music heavy episode soon though...

I still haven't seen the show, but I now have vol. 3 of theiry CD in my possession. I've been explaining to people that "it just makes me happy."
And, it has Jane Lynch, so it MUST be funny... right?

Well Britney is the best dance of them all. She may not sing much but just watch her in the background of the show pieces and she is amazing.
Plus her one liners are fantastic and said with such deadpan stupidity.
Britney Why are you here...?

So yes, I watch Glee. My ex-girlfriend got me into it and even if I didn't like it I can't stop watching something I've put so many weeks into. I completely fell head over heels for Santana when she sang her part in Bad Romance. That was the greatest part of the entire episode.
Also, Kurt became my least favorite character on the entire show with this episode.

The Lady Gaga thing was weird. The songs didn't really match the episode.....I felt they were doing it for the sake of doing a Lady gaga themed one because she is so popular right now.
Oh well it was still a good episode. I felt really awkward for Kurt....I am not sure if I like the character though. I'm gay and it does make me cringe at times when the blatent stereotypes are wheeled out to be laughed at. That said the actor who plays him is brilliant and brings a comedic and tragic side to him.
As for Rachel's dads being no comparison to a real mother I really didn't see it this way. I saw it as a girl who was looking for her real mother....pretty much like the majority of adoption issues. It had nothing to do with two dads and more to do with the character wanting to know where she came from.
This is a great series and I hope they continue to keep it fresh.

I agree that the actor playing Kurt is brilliant in both acting and singing, but I really hope Kurt will leave Glee club one day and join sides with Sue to plot their demise.

I almost exploded when Idina started singing my FAVORITE Barbra song at the beginning of last weeks episode.
As for Gaga - I thought Brittany's was by far the BEST costume. After Like a Virgin, Boy is Mine & Bad Romance, I'm CRAVING more Santanna. A friend saw the Glee Concert in NYC over the weekend and said she has some great songs coming up later this season - Color Me Excited.
I love Kurt. As someone who borders on the stereotypical, I love that Kurt is just like me when I was in High School (excpept the whole "out" thing). And his Dad is the BEST TV dad EVER. I seriously had to pause the DVR after their scene last week so I could compose myself.
SUPER Excited about tonight's episode!!!

I never thought Mike O'Malley would be the greatest TV dad of all time (of all time!) but he's amazed me with his performances on Glee.
Also, I dunno if I've been clear but the thing I hate about Kurt is how diabolical he can be. He always seems to have some plot to get Finn.
This week's episode was...interesting to say the least. I'm still a bit confused by it though. Though I have to say...Beck. That made this episode full of win.
Okay, I watched the episode again and except for a few gems (Beck, Mercedes & Quinn's friendship growing, Finn, Puck, & Mercedes collab, and the one liners) this episode was mostly not really good. It seems the episodes were switched and so there are some major plot holes in this episode.

Indeed, followed close by Quinn's, especially when she held that star-shipe spike structure in her hand, which she didn't during the performance. Brittany not only had the best costume, but during the dance she outclassed the entire cast.

Last night's episode was definitely a bit of a letdown. One of the things that I dislike about GLEE is that they often don't resolve key plotlines in a very tidy or fully satisfying way. Like when Quinn was kicked out by her parents, it took forever for them to even mention where she was living or how she was getting by on her own.
Now I find myself wondering if Kurt cleared things up with his dad after he blew up at Finn. Did he tell him how Finn defended him? Are Burt and Carol still dating? How did Burt's blow-up affect their romance? While these aren't dynamics that need to be shown necessarily, it would be nice to at least mention them in a "hey, Kurt... thanks again for working things out with your dad."

I've noticed that too. The pacing of the plotlines seems off. Quinn was the main star for quite a few episodes when it was all about her and the baby but the past few episodes she barely gets a line and no mention is made of her pregnancy. I know that story arcs are weaved in and out throughout the series but a little consistancy wouldn't hurt. Where is Quinn staying? Any further developements with her parents? I mean c'mon they kicked their pregnant daughter out and apparently completely cut her off?
I was wondering about the Kurt/Kurt's dad/Finn thing aswell. Did they resolve the situation or is Finn still kicked out?
Overall it's a good series but
it's blatently still finding it's feet which isn't a bad thing really. Hopefully with season 2 they can stabilise things a bit now that the understand what fans want.

I freaking love this show! Guess I'm a gleek! Mercedes consantly amazes me when she sings, Santanna is fantastic when she gets the chance and the drama and relationships have constantly got me up and down. Sue and Brittney have amazing lines in this too.
'I think my cat is reading my diary'

Fantastic show!
