I know that Merlin carved the Ebony Blade from a meteroite.  My questions have to do with that said meteroite:

1) do we know what year it fell?
2) Was/is there any left over?  If the sword has certain metaphysical properties, then the meteorite should as well, no?
3) Has the meteroite ever been shown/is any more info available?
4) I think I once heard the meteorite called the Starheart.  Isn't that the name of the Distinguished Competitor's Magical Meteorite that was carved to make Alan Scott's Green Lantern Power Ring?

4: probably a coincidence.  It seems to be common for things that used to be part of meteors to get names that have star in them.  IIRC (I can't remember where I saw it) one of the Egyptian Pharoahs had a jewel that was created in a meteor impact.  I can't remember the exact name but the name had a falling star motif.

Thanks, marhawkman.

Now, if I can only get answers for the other three questions, I'd be set.

Since no one has responded, perhaps no one knows.Confused

From what I know that meteorite fell (Avengers Annual #22) in AD 500's, not a specific year is given. Also about parts being left over, I know that Merlin fashioned the ebony sword and the ebony dagger, Merlin himself, mystically enchanted both weapons. Merlin foresaw a mystical meteor striking near Camelot. Just as the meteor was about to crash to Earth the Anachronauts appeared in this time. The Anachronauts witnessed the meteor's fall and then observed other time travelers, a group of robots known as the Incinerators, appear and seize the mystical rock. Realizing that this theft would disrupt the timestream, the Anachronauts fought the robots and freed their captive, Justin Alphonse Gamble. Gamble had been an employee of the Time Variance Authority who had resigned and stolen one of their time capsules for his own needs. After destroying the rest of the Incinerators the Anachronauts returned to Chronopolis, their time bridging city. Shortly afterwards Merlin arrived in pursuit of the meteor, which Gamble traded to him for Merlin's Book of Skelos. Gamble then left this era in his time capsule.

And that's pretty much all I know about the Meteor, hope it helped!!

Welcome, shedreamsinred!

Yes, your info did help quite a bit.  Thank you so much!

Did all the info come from Avengers #22?  I don't have that issue.

Thanks again.
