I missed the first episode apparently - it's not on Hulu, it's not on iTunes, where can I go to see it? Any suggestions?

I found it on Youtube.
I watched it last night and enjoyed it, though there was too much angry emo teenager for my liking. First Speedy then Superboy being all angry and confrontational, it just bugged me. And of course, Superboy, being the troubled teen, is likly the one that's going to find love.
I'm not that much of a DC follower, but I enjoyed seeing character you likely wouldn;t see very often in a cartoon, like Miss Martian or Guardian, in a carton. Superman's reaction to Superboy seemed really realistic. Many would probably expect Supes to seem up and invite him to live with him or something. Instead, Supes got really uncomfortable and pretty much ignored the situation.

My only complaint with Freeze is the missing blueish skin and glowing red eyes. That's so iconic, so classic, how can they change that!?!

According to inerviews, this series is meant to be set very early on in the DC chronology. Thus why Zatarra is on the Justice Leage instead of Zatanna. I imagine Freeze's look is based of his early appearances. He actually didn't take on the iconic blue skin and red eyes until it was done (awesomely) in Batman The Animated Series, in the 90s.

Well this is a new DC chronology, so I'm okay with people looking different. I just wish personalities were more towards the same I wish Superboy was more fun, slightly empty headed, joke type than emo, sulking hero type. But at least Bart or Wally(whoever it is) seems like his comic self. One of the reasons Superboy is interesting to me is because he is so unlike Clark. I don't want to watch Young Justice do Clark Kent from Smallville season 6 and 7.

He's spent his entire (short) life in a tube being infodumped by gremlins. I imagine he'll become less cranky as the series progresses.

It's set on Earth 16...roughly the leagues been around like 3-4 years, Superman's been around 5 years. So it's an established world

Really enjoyed the pilot. Liked Tim's little laugh as he disappears into the shadows, kinda fits his character as this point. Wasn't sure if this was Wally or Bart, but Kid Flash was good. Don't know much about Aqua Lad but seemed as if he could stand on his own. Conner was good as well in trying to free himself from his brainwashing.
Central to the Young Justice book was the core relationship and humor between Robin, Impulse, and Superboy. The creators seem to have captured the early elements of such here and I hope it continues in the ongoing show. This shouldn't be a re-hash of the Titans, it should stand on it's own merits. Can't wait to see what's next.

I enjoyed it. I liked the fact that Aqualad was a new and unique take on the character, and I thought that Speedy was very true to form. I liked Robin too, although I have to admit that I'm a little sceptical on the use of Dick Grayson (I read this somewhere online so I might be wrong, or the source may be erroneous) over Tim Drake-- not because I think Tim is a 'better' Robin, per se, but that I feel that it would have made for more interesting drama down the line if it was revealed that this Robin wasn't the original, and there had been a Robin before him that had gone a different way. I like the introduction of Miss Martian, because she can add some levity that perhaps is missing in the team, and I quite liked the Superboy elements of the story too. Kid Flash I'm not so sold on yet, but I don't particularly like the Flashes anyway. All in all, I'm interested to see where this series will go, and hope it lasts a few seasons.

Finally caught it on YouTube. Loved it. I think it's on par quality-wise with the animated movies they've been putting out the last three years or so.

I'd say it's better then every animated movies they've done except Brave New World and Batman: Red Mask...

Red Hood.
I also really liked GL: First Flight, Wonder Woman, and SM/ BM: Apocalypse as much if not better. But it's very early in in the series so there is a lot of potential here.

Finally got around to watching this and I loved it. I've only ever been lightly involved with DC continuity, but it was easy to follow, fun, and the action scenes looked GREAT. I was so happy that it wasn't done in a Timm or Titans style of animation.
Anyone think the genomes are either a nod to or a set up for Blue Devil/Kid Devil? I might be reading too much into it, but hey, that's part of the fun.
Also: Robin's little explodey discs had smiley faces on them! I'm used to Teen Titans Robin, so it's much more entertaining to watch one who's a bit of a smart ass.

Thoughts-
So we know its Wally West and that Batman
Miss Martian can't phase stuff but she does have telekinesis. I kinda don't like how bubbly she is but otherwise she's cool.
Aqualad as leader is cool.
Kid Flash and Robin are both cool. I dig there friendship. Aren't Dick and Wally close? Funny he has the limitation of not being able to vibrate thru stuff without hurting himself.
Mr. Twister's design is alright. The lil scarf thing is weird...
Anybody know who the scientist might be?
Superboy is alil too angsty for me.

It's Dr. T. O. Morrow, creator of Red Tornado.
Miss Martian is so cool.

Was it on today already? Hmm..
Don't like the sound of Superboy, from what I read on newsarama he's "angry". Blah I don't need to see Smallville season 4-6 Superboy thanks.

Actually the flunky called him Professor, so I thought it was Professor Ivo. As in Professor Ivo's Android, which became Amazo. Don't they both have mustaches? I suppose it could be either.
So if Megan has trouble mimicking boys how did she become Red Tornado who is just a dude with a robot face? I think she was just being kinky at first. :P

Ivo usually has craggy gray skin. He and Amazo will be voiced by Peter MacNicol.
Red Tornado and T. O. Morrow are both Jeff Benett.
Next week sounds cool because Arnold Vosloo is Kobra and Bane is Danny Trejo.

The only thing cooler than Bane would be Bane with a machete.

I like their characterization of Miss Martian. When she first showed up in the comics she was like this. She didn't quite know how to interact with Earthlings (or Kryptonians)
Ivo would be boring, now T. O. Morrow that has promise.
Danny Trejo is perfect for voicing Bane. :D

I liked that that mistook Mr. Twister for Red Tornado, but I wish they would've just used the silver Age Mr. Twister since he's so strange in a modern context:
Bromwell Stikk was the descendant of Jacob Stikk, who leased the town to founders of Hatton Corners at an annual price of one feather from a passenger pigeon. After becoming an outcast to society, Brom Stikk retreated to Goat Island, where he learned how to enchant an Amerindian medicine stick with the power to summon and control tornados. Dubbing himself Mister Twister, Brom returned to Hatton Corners to get revenge on the townspeople for rejecting him and demand the same yearly feather payment (now impossible due to the pigeon's extinction) from the modern-day residents. As a result of the town being unable to fulfill his fee, Twister kidnapped the teenagers of the town and brought them back to Goat Island - where he forced them to build a statue in his honor.

So finally saw it.
Funny enough, even though I thought I'd dislike her Megan was my favorite character this episode. Sure her "Hello Megan"s were annoying but beyond that she actually has the best personality out of the team.
Aqualad is bland, Superboy is one note(which sucks because he's my favorite DC character) and Robin so far just seems like a less funny Kid Flash.
So yeah not amazed by this show by any means but I'll stick with it.
