UXM 526-534 is just one long story and if you put Curse of the Mutants in the middle it doesn't make sense because of appearances of for instance Emma Frost.

I haven't read Young Allies yet.

At long last, here's an update. I'm okay with Frans' suggestions above, by the way, even though this update only starts from Age of X. The Dark Angel Saga caused some problems, but I decided to place it between Fear Itself and Schism. Any appearances by Archangel in Schism will have to be considered art errors. Also, despite Carey's comments, I put Five Miles South of the Universe before Schism. I didn't see any reason why it had to be after. The absence of Havok, Polaris, and Rachel in Schism isn't a reason. There were plenty of people on Utopia that didn't appear. They were off fighting sentinels somewhere.

By the way, what ever happened to Hepzibah?

oohh... an update. thanks for this. however there already was a discussion on the uncanny x-force 19 thread regarding dark angel saga being in between schism and the regenesis one-shot, with the second half of UXF 19 being after WatXM 3. not sure, though, maybe your list is more accurate.

BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS

Last few months or so I've been extremely busy tying up a good trustworthy, especially based on character appearances, chronology of FEAR ITSELF. I have to say it's very difficult and a lot of this happens simultaneously and there are appearances of characters in series that could not happen, because the character was somewhere else at the same time. The list below is as good as it goes. This list is just a whole issue list, and some characters can appear somewhere else in the list as far as their own chronology is concerned, but I've made it as comprehensive as possible.

Please have a look and let me know if I've missed anything or if the placing is not right. Explanations why these issues appear where they are, are available.

I've found a placing for the Chaos War issues. Think it's best to place it after Curse of the Mutants.

Wolverine and Jubilee #1-4

Chaos War #5
X-Men To Serve and Protect #1-4

Furthermore I think it's better to place New Mutants #25-27 (Unfinished Business) before X-23 4-7 (Songs of the Orphan Child), because of the inclusion of Gambit. Gambit's appearance in the X-23 series from #4-16 seems to happen without gaps. Therefore all his other appearances are before or after his X-23.

X-Men 15.1 (Hell to Pay) should be moved, because of the appearance of the new Ghost Rider, Alejandra. She becomes Ghost Rider during Fear Itself. So this issue has to come after. Therefore it's plausible to move X-Men 16-19 Betrayal in the Bermuda Triangle also. Both adventures have to happen before Schism, because of Wolverine and Cyclops in one team (16-19) and Gambit (15.1). It's maybe best to put them right between Fear Itself and Schism.

Avengers Children's Crusade happens before Spider-Island, Schism and The Return of Human Torch, as seen in the comic itself. It's also stated that it happens after Fear Itself.

According to other message boards the Dr Doom, FF and Wonder Man appearances are causing problems. I'm especially an X-reader, so I'm not sure whether ACC could be definitely placed somewhere. As for X-chronology I would vote for right before or after X-Men 16-19.

Any ideas?

The big issue with ACC is that it took so long to come out. It originally was supposed to be at the beginning of the Age of Heroes but as you can see it ended much much much later.
