Topic: Match the UXN Poster to the X-Character Posted: 15-Jun-2010 at 1:15pm |
|
Ok - AJ started this thread over in X-Pressions and due to popular demand (Check some of the Random Thoughts) - here it is again for all to enjoy:
Sixhoursoflucy - Beast
QDLux - Dazzler
Blackcyclops - Havok
Kipe - Rachel Grey
Savant - Jean Grey (or did we think Sage more appropriate?)
InsipidLust - Emma Frost
Pezz - Wolverine
JanO - Dr. Nemesis (I'm telling you, I think this fits better...)
Das Boot - **I erased as to not incurr Das' wrath....let's find another one for him...**
Absolutely - Jubilee
Jubilee - Armor
Hughissuper - Kitty (I'd say this fits more)
Laudo - Domino
AJ - Dani Moonstar
Archangel - I would go with Warren....a very Broody Warren
Marhawkman - Cypher
Who else have we mentioned??

Seriously, I vote Sage for Savant because of the vast store of knowledge thing.... And I think Jubilee for Bagels, cause he's always lovable but sometimes completely inappropriate. And, don't get mad at me Archangel, but you just make me think of Ozymandias for some reason. I think it might be the back-talk..ooooo, for that matter, Deadpool could fit you.
OMG! Q, I was totally going to say Dazzler for you, too! I guess it's cause she's sparkly and fabulous.

I stand by most in the previous thread:
Prone to mood swings? Check. Frequents Bars? Check. Gets angry pretty
quickly? Check. Tries to avoid most people except for a select few?
Check. Throws insults that could make a sailor blush? Check. Red hair?
Check.
Booty = Juggernaut
Also I think Tom Cassidy fits six a lot more than Beast does.
As for Jan hmmmmmmm Alex Summers X-Factor era.

Bagels is no Gambit. He's very above-board, what you see is what you get. He doesn't have a funny accent or steal things. He does often have a five-o-clock shadow and is excellent at shuffling cards, however. Bagels could be an Iceman. He's very silly sometimes.

I think Multiple Man is a great suggestion! Sometimes, especially when he's excited, it can seem like Bagels is more than one person.

Wait. Pixie's cool? I missed that memo. And I think Lucy is Monet, only because we go back and forth alot and I think of myself as Rictor.

If you don't mind being a woman, JanO, you are a total Emma Frost.
Unfortunately someone else has it. Thus I think people are trying to find the "male" Emma, such as Magneto or Nemesis.

Personally I think Cable fits Deadpool the most; which would add new meaning to the title Cable & Deadpool.

JanO should be Sebastian Shaw. Lots of power, influence, and always plotting something. Of course this depends on ignoring the last ten years or so of Shaw's history where he has become a putz LOL

Alex I do everything like a hawk.
This isn't DC Comics -- Marvel continuity doesn't die out if you don't water it often enough.
The whole Batman idea is a very childish response to childhood trauma.

Bagels is totally Iceman! I actually think that might be my favourite comparison so far!
Crutey I definately see as more Reed Richards than Captain Britain, but for the sake of X-Centric characters, Captain Britain it is.
Hugh, I find it difficult to pin you to a character... while I'd like to find a female character with a quirky and off-beat sense of humour, you're no Boom-Boom, because you're more thoughtful... I would actually tend to agree with the Domino connection...
Savant I definitely see as a cross between Sage and Jean... vast fount of wisdom but also you wouldn't want to be on the other side of an argument with her!
Q, so Dazzler it's unreal. I demand that you invest in rollerskates for your next drag show.
I see Medium as Nightcrawler. I always kind of have.
Polaris and Jubilee... are Polaris and Jubilee. Surprised?
I see Luzifer as Xavier. No nonsense when someone steps out of line but kind of in an almost paternal way, oddly.
Cable as Deadpool fits kind of nicely :)
JanO I see as Banshee... again, kind of a paternal figure, certainly more laid-back than Xavier, and a total loveable rogue.
BC-- now you mention it, I do kind of see you as X-Man in the whole 'Shaman role', especially in that one of the things that you often mention on here is how you hate any kind of discrimination. Not that any of us hate it any less, but you just seem so much more vocal about it.
Six I kind of see as a cross between Beast (when he's not being an utter misery... Beast, that is, not Lucy) and Longshot...
Hotknives is Pete Wisdom... no doubt in my mind whatsoever.
Pezz... sorry, but you're no Wolverine. I'm heading towards Fantomex, with your whole mystery schtick :P
Crawler, I also stick with my Cannonball theory. Still no idea why.
Laudo, let me get back to you, because I'm still wracking my brains to figure out who I think you are...

BC is absolutely Pixie. He "LOL"s more times a post then a 14 year old girl at the mall.
Especially since AsClose is gone, I see Monolith channeling Emma Frost from time to time. I still chuckle about the "I'll pay you a dollar if you go away" poster from a few years back.

@XTreme-- You could try hurling slurs at him until he kills himself and then accuse everyone else at his funeral (ie; the blameless majority) that it's somehow their fault for being insensitive. I don't see you as Kitty. You don't irritate me beyond words....
