Did they put Michael Jackson's "Black or White" in the soundtrack yet? You'd think they'd have caved, after his passing.

I'm hoping it's a thematic sequel like Gold/Silver. Not with new Pokemon necessarily (although I'm a sucker for new Pokemon), but with the storyline being a follow-up to the previous game's storyline.

Yeah, I actually started to "finish" playing White a few weeks back. Stuck training before taking on the Elite Four and the Champion. >.< I HATE THE GRIND.

Yeah I got it last year when it came out and started and then it ended up just sitting around in the drawer as Call of Duty sucked up all my time just pulled it out last week and decided I didn't like where I was at so started over and just plowed through it.

I've just been having the worst time taking on the Four. My team is all pretty well trained - I'm used to this group and I obliterate anythinge else I run into. And at this point, my team is all at level 53/54, so I'm almost equal to the Four's pokemon as well. But every time I get in there they just tear me apart. I've beaten everyone but the psychic woman - but not at the same time. >.<
My plan is to get everyone up to lv. 55 and try to beat them ONCE and FOR ALL.

There's no information up on the next game. The story continues in the Unova region two years later from the previous games. There's new player characters and a new rival, new areas including so far two new gym leaders specializing in poison and water types. And is confirmed that you can catch old Pokemon in Unova.

Have you guys ever tried to Nuzlocke challenge?
I've failed every single bloody time!
It's still good to actually try, makes the games tougher and lets you stretch your muscles in naming pokemon! (I'm defo a 2/3/4 mix with such names as for my female Zubat Katherine (after Bat-Woman))

Probably one of the few games that I really played a lot of when I was younger, it was really nice to see the Pokemon line evolve into something really serious and big like what they have now. Though I have not practically followed the series, it still makes for something that is really interesting and one that would work really well with the things need just like that.

Unlike some of the other Pokemon fans, I was pleasantly surprised by Black/White. This is because prior to this the only in the series I had played was Green (the Japanese one and my first Pokemon game), Red, and Blue. So for me it was like stepping into a brand new expansive world to explore. The one city (I can't remember the name now) just blew me away because I LOVE huge cities. I'm also a sucker for little mini-games or fun doodledads to do in games when I'm bored of level grinding, so the "useless Pokemon show/dance deal" was one of my pluses to where it was others' minuses.
I, also, am a big fan of Ghetsis. He's extremely charismatic. A perfect recurring character in that game. I always looked forward to his little speeches and found the idea of Pokemon Liberation pretty fascinating - a big step up from a couple of knockheads trying to steal one single Pokemon to please their boss. I haven't completed the game 'yet' but I'm guessing Ghetsis has bigger more selfish plans. XD;; His aura screams that. The new creatures do take some getting used to. They have a whole new feel to them than the original Pokemon. I do love the Goth Pokemon trio girls though. They are BEAUTIFUL! So yeah, I'm enjoying the games here. Look forward to sequels, etc.

I didn't want to start a new topic so I'll just post it here. Just finished watching the worldwide announcement of Generation 6 coming in October to the 3DS. It is called Pokemon X/Y and is fully 3D, no more sprites. They unveiled the starters and two legendaries so far and you can follow the info here:
