Not many people i've talked with have read this but it is probably one of my favorite series.  Come!  Proclaim your love!  We're all friends here.

Also you can explain to me why your brain is wired weird and you disliked the comic i guess.

For those not in the know I feel Ellis sums it up best, "It’s an absolute distillation of the superhero genre. No plot lines, characters, emotions, nothing whatsoever. It’s people posing in the street for no good reason. It is people getting kicked, and then exploding. It is a pure comic book, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. And afterwards, they will explode".

Despite the fact that I've not read it, I don't think I've read a SINGLE bad thing about Nextwave. Everyone seems to have loved it and everyone seems to want more.

I need to find me a trade...

Yeah it was great. I can't think of it without thinking of the theme song, as well.

Nextwave was awesome. All the characters were brilliant, and some of the moments had me laughing out loud. Brilliant

Same here! Nick Lowe and his brother did a great job with this! They also created a theme song for Runaways later...

I have the "entire series" TPB. I recommend picking it up.
Alex I do everything like a hawk.
This isn't DC Comics -- Marvel continuity doesn't die out if you don't water it often enough.
The whole Batman idea is a very childish response to childhood trauma.

This.  I can't really recall any other comic that actually caused me to laugh out loud and not silently chuckle within my head.

I also loved how they took obscure characters and made them memorable, which was almost every character in the book

Such a fun book. I especially loved the issue that was comprised almost entirely of two-page, side-scrolling spreads of them fighting masses of ridiculous villains.
Why am I even listening to you to begin with? You're a virgin who can't drive.

It was a book that was written so damn well that even though it was suppose to be placed utterly out of canon, nearly every character's "Nextwave" persona has meshed into their mainstream 616 counterpart.

My favourite was "NEXTWAVE: Blatantly wasting your money since 2008!". The Captain needs to be in more titles.

My favorite issue was the crooked cop turned mega-monster.

It made Tabitha lovable again. I was so grateful considering the end of the original X-Force... when Pete Wisdom made them all commando-y and boring.

I love Nextwave. It made me a Photon fan for sure. It also allowed Tabitha to be herself, pure and undiluted.

The Captain should have his own series.
