Thanks guys!
I guess I'll move anything that hasn't been updated in a year and a half(maybe a year if it's only a couple of stories), so if that's you and you don't want it moved, let me know.

I will sadly not continue any of the titles I used to work on with the very remote possibility of Royal Guard.
Before that excites anyone I have no intention of picking it up again anytime soon, so if someone wants to work on it or restart it Gibbering can go ahead and do that. But if no one does I might go back to it in the future!

For me both Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Graymalkin can actually be removed from site if possible. FNSM just won't ever happen, but Graymalkin will be happening I just am currently in the process of retooling it and hope to bring it back out new and shiny.
Intolerance of course I'm working on new issues for, though the X-Factor ones can be removed as I'm revamping that series and sticking with it this time. I might also be doing some of those cast head shot bars like Mackers had for his Decimiation universe for Intolerance as I like the idea and it would let people know who is on each team in the small universe.
Shame to see some of the great stuff of THOI past not coming back, but real life is a cruel taskmaster sometimes and fan fiction can't be priority number one of course :).

You could give me a kick in the ass whenever I drift away from my writing to post here or check my facebook.
How would you like to help?
You can write, read/feedback, submit fanart, offer any technical advice you might have.

I'd be happy to.
I don't know much about the technical side of things, but i'll be happy to do some writing, and offer feedback. I've had my eye on THOIN for a long time, and have always wanted to write but never got around to it. Today, I finally managed to put an idea together for the Independent section you lot were discussing.

Yay! New Blood!
Yeah, I'd say the thing we need the most help with now is more people contributing writing.
That and feedback. There's a new update with three new issues in the FanFiction section below this one and I created a Delayed Feedback Thread for giving feedback for any older issues.
Feel free to ask people if you need any advice/input/previewing for your new project! I generally like your taste in characters/stories so I'm looking forward to what you come up with. Whenever you said you wanted to help/contribute I was hoping you meant writing. I wish you luck!

Awesome. I'm really excited to execute the idea I've worked out today. I've seriously been juggling a cast and a core idea in my head since I joined UXN. I'm so happy to finally have one. The story I'm working on is an AU kind of thing that's like the X-Men meets the Scarpetta series meets Mad Men. Would you mind my PMing you the outline I wrote? I don't know where to begin!

@Justin, I can't believe we didn't think of that before. Good idea.
@X-Treme, I've read Insipid's outline and I think you'll really like it. It's something a little different for THOIN and if it were a tv show it'd be one you'd watch lol.

I am not sure if it is makeable, but what I don't really like is that I have to turn over the pages to go through a story. Maybe you can do it like MO and have a story completely on one page?
That's just my wish. If others do not want that, I have no problem.

Most people prefer the pages. There are some stories that use only one page and that's in All*Star Reborn and Arana Family section.

Yeah, it sort of got voted on a while back to keep the pages thing. I try to now put pages in "act" breaks now, to give it a better flow. But I understand where you're coming from.

I like the pages. For one, If I'm stressed for time, it helps me decide if I can get through that issue/episode in one sitting or not. Also, there's always that anticipatory moment of the page turn lol. I think it makes it more like a real comic.

Plus, if you have to leave in the middle, you can be like, "Okay, I was on page 4 somewhere in the middle." Otherwise, if you go back to a story that's all on one page, you have to try and remember how far your were scrolled... which is impossibly difficult and an inconvenience.
Kipe, I only used SHC like once... lol. I was hoping it was like that old school facebook superhero game, but it's not. I think it was called like... "I want to be a Superhero" or something like that, and when you registered, they gave you a powerset (you could trade if you didn't like it). And you had to build on that powerset specifically and fight crime and do all these really crazy missions. It was actually pretty interesting. But it got too big and Facebook couldn't handle it so they got rid of it. Anyway. That has nothing to do with this thread. Haha.
I'm still trying to toy with my cast with my collab 'uni' with Daniel. I'm iffy on one character, because I don't know the character well enough, nor if I could even write him. But if I dismiss him, I'll only have one male, and that doesn't work.

Is there another male that you'd like to write/that would fit with what you're doing?
You can pm me if you want about it. In fact, anybody can pm me for feedback/somebody to bounce ideas off of if they want. But not everybody, then I won't have anything suprising to read later

Yeah, I thought about that point after I made my post. For instance, I know I am on page 3 of Xtreme's latest issue of COTA. I'm at the begining of page 2 on Daniel's Outsiders #2.

I'm setting my Vertigo one-shot aside because I've been inspired to write something involving X-characters. It won't be an X-Men setting, but it should be fun.
I'll give you guys the title as a tease.

One of the things I'd recommend for the site is setting a defined width for the page. For people with higher resolution screens, like myself, it gets hard to read the issues without a defined width because the text goes from one side of the screen all the way to the other, and it's easy to lose your place when you go down to the next line.It might also be cool to set the issues to Justify as opposed to Left alignment, for the same reason.
Have you guys considered making the actual issues in a serif font? There have been studies that say serif fonts are easier to read and cause less strain on the eyes when reading large blocks of text than san serif fonts, which is why a lot of printed material is set in serif font. Peoples opinions of it have been mixed, especially when it comes to reading stuff on a computer screen, though.
