I've come to find lately that speaking with others and sharing with others is the best way sometimes to get over writers blocks or just slumps in writing. Figured instead of going off topic in the thread about THOI coming back, we could use this to speak of our writing progress and ideas and just bounce things off one another to keep us all interested in writing and keeping THOI thriving.

I'm surprised that with the reboot of Intolerance the Special issue that starts it all off and branches all things off I'm already at 16 pages and have more to go. I never write that much lol. Not even my 'giant size' issues usually get that big. I've also found ways to incorporate and grow things that were already used in the first issues of Uncanny and X-Factor. The third issue of Uncanny is also in the works as its a much better and expanded version of the Cecilia centric issue I did before.

I've done some work on the other projects I'm bringing to the site. One is with Marshal and the other is with Mackers and Justin. Hoping to have those both moved ahead soon.

How is everyone else doing with writing so far? Anyone having trouble with stuff or having blocks or just not sure about any ideas?

Nah, I'm just messing. I should have something ready to hand in soon, I'm just getting annoyed because I cunningly didn't save a good three-four pages worth of Haven before closing Word. Le sigh.

Outsiders is almost done, as soon as I feel I've hit Hawkeye's voice properly and checked it over for the story beats, and XXTNC may be slightly more delayed due to it being a "talky", which is always more difficult for me to do because I'm dead inside.

I've only got two chunks of the first act of The Age After to write - Quicksilver's group and Storm's group. I pretty much know what I'm going to do with Storm's group, so I've started with Quicksilver's as it presents the biggest challenge, but is really a key plot thread.

I'm really just trying to establish the relationships between Pietro and the rest of the cast, who consist of Sunfire, Morph, and Illyana. We've briefly seen that Quicksilver/Morph have a bit of a history and get along alright (Astonishing X-Men #1), but we've never seen Quicksilver/Sunfire interact and Illyana is is pretty much a blank slate. So for me, that's the biggest challenge at the moment, but it's also the best kind of challenge - a character challenge.

Once Pietro's part is done, I'll write up Storm's team, which is all action, and then it ALL comes together.

I'm currently working on my MO stuff, 'Arana' and 'Nomad & the Young Allies'. I'm working on a crossover between the two and having fun with it. My new THOIN project will get started soon between writing the crossover. I already have the first scene in my head.

I got part of issue 2 for X-Force: Beyond done, decided I hated it, erased all of it and started over. I'm about a quarter of the way done now, hopefully I'll get it finished tomorrow, I have off from school and work, or at least by the end of the week.

The very recently previewed 'Intolerance Special #1' was completed tonight and sent into to X-Treme. So the first bit of the rebooted Intolerance universe is ready to go and I hope that I've done more justice to some of the characters that were mistreated the last time I started off this universe :).

I've actually been suffering under the crushing weight of a retail job, so I haven't had any fanfic time at all. I'm thinking on several different things, but I haven't had time to just sit down and write. The plans are all gold, I just can't seem to put thought to keyboard.
