returned as sentient echo of psionic energy that can tap vast psionic energies funneled through Nate Grey, enabling her to utilize powers of telepathy, psychokinesis, and teleportation Affiliations: Berzerkers, Inferno Demons, Inner Circle, Hellfire Club III Notes: Madelyne briefly became Anodyne in the X-Men/Alpha Flight limited series. She later became the Goblyn Queen in Uncanny X-Men #234. Madelyne died in X-Factor (1st series) #37 during Inferno, but was accidentally ressurected when Nate Grey crossed over from the Age of Apocalypse. With his mental powers he tried to reach out to the friendly person he met before (Jean) and subconsciously gave the echo of Madelyne's psyche a new form(X-Man #5).
As an ally of the X-Men during the Australian era, Madelyne was once rendered invisible to all forms of electronic detection.
Madelyne's middle name Jennifer was revealed during the wedding in Uncanny X-Men #175.
