Emplate's surname was revealed in Generation X #12, his first name in Generation X #24. Marrow-sucking Emplates were first mentioned by Bishop back in Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #308. Emplate's group of minions was referred to as Hellions in solicitations and previews only.
